Join Ford's hybrid team in Waterloo as an Embedded Software Developer focused on In-Vehicle Infotainment camera systems. Leverage your expertise in C/C++ and embedded software to create innovative camera solutions.

In this role on Ford’s Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design team, you will design and deploy high-availability camera software for next-generation automotive platforms. With a focus on real-time performance and system integration, you will collaborate on defining requirements and ensuring seamless operation of camera systems in vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust camera software for IVI systems

• Optimize software for embedded platforms with real-time performance

• Lead integration of camera systems and video streaming

• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams

• Debug complex software issues on embedded hardware

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 7+ years in embedded systems software development

• 3+ years in modern C/C++ programming

• Experience in camera or video streaming solutions

• Knowledge of QNX or RTOS environments
