Position: Senior Automation Test Developer Role
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Lead the development of Python-based automation strategies as a Senior Automation Test Developer focusing on Media & USB features. This hands-on role involves building frameworks and ensuring system integrity across various platforms.

Our client is seeking an experienced Automation Test Developer with a focus on embedded operating systems like QNX and Android. You will design maintainable Python test frameworks and utilities while expanding automation coverage with risk-based strategies. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python automation frameworks and libraries

• Execute automated test suites and validate software builds

• Analyze and triage embedded system logs for root-cause analysis

• Collaborate in architectural design and peer code reviews

• Manage defects within Jira and Test Rail effectively

Requirements:

• 5+ years in Software Quality Engineering or IT

• 3+ years in Python test automation frameworks

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical field

• Advanced Python skills and knowledge of Git

• Hands-on experience with QNX and Android systems
