Location: Southwestern Ontario
Become a key player at Ford as an In-Vehicle Infotainment Software Engineer in Waterloo. This hybrid position focuses on developing advanced camera software for innovative automotive solutions.
As part of Ford's Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing embedded camera software that enhances user experiences in electric vehicles.
Your role involves optimizing performance and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure high-quality system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and test camera software for IVI systems
• Optimize embedded systems for real-time performance
• Integrate camera functionalities and stream video feeds
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
• Address and debug software challenges on embedded platforms
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 7+ years of embedded software development experience
• Proficient in C/C++ with modern standards
• Experienced in camera and video streaming applications
• Knowledgeable in QNX and embedded Linux environments
