Senior Data Engineer at Orca

In this advanced role, you will design, build, and operate ingestion and analytics platforms at Orca, leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and T-SQL. You'll collaborate with peers while mentoring junior staff, ensuring that ingestion frameworks and data quality controls meet organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design metadata-driven ingestion pipelines for new carrier feeds

• Maintain data transformation logic using T-SQL and Python

• Implement automated data quality controls with Azure Monitor

• Build metadata catalog and lineage tracking systems

• Support CI/CD processes using Azure Dev Ops Pipelines

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a Data Engineer or similar role

• Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Experience with Azure Data Services and Microsoft Fabric

• Proficiency in T-SQL and Python for data tasks

• Strong communication skills for technical discussions
