As a Principal Software Engineer, you'll define long-term strategies for the Billing workstream while driving initiatives to enhance customer capabilities across payments and banking. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve critical systems while establishing a strong architectural framework. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to influence without authority, driving reliability and quality across the organization's billing products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the architectural roadmap for billing systems

• Lead high-pressure incidents and critical deliveries

• Participate in the Architecture Review Board for system decisions

• Foster observability and scalable solutions within teams

• Mentor engineers while improving technical maturity in the workstream

Requirements:

• 15-20+ years of engineering experience

• Proven technical direction across multi-team organizations

• Experience in Payments or Banking domains

• Architecture leadership evidenced through roadmaps and standards

• Strong executive communication skills
