Position: iOS Developer Manager at Google XR
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Take charge of innovative iOS Glasses System Experiences with Google in either San Jose, CA or Waterloo, ON. Lead a talented team of Software Developers shaping the future of augmented reality.

As a Software Developer Manager, you will oversee technical leadership, strategic project management, and team operations. Your strong experience in iOS application development and architecture will empower your team to create unique user experiences. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and cultivating innovative ideas from HCI researchers is paramount for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own technical roadmaps with data-driven decision making

• Ensure timely, high-quality launches through testing and KPIs

• Empower the team with mentorship and architectural oversight

• Manage cross-functional relationships for optimal outcomes

• Cultivate new ideas through collaboration with UX designers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

• 8 years in software development, 3 in leadership

• Proficient in iOS development practices and architectures

• Experience with AI and spatial computing

• Demonstrated ability in managing large-scale projects
