In this hybrid role based in Waterloo, Ontario, you will own the core imaging library and support critical components of the PLANIX Mobile App. As a senior developer, you will work with firmware, mobile, and cloud teams to enhance product capabilities while driving architectural best practices and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement production C/C++ across embedded systems

• Contribute to system architecture; evolve best practices

• Maintain app interfaces; troubleshoot cross-boundary issues

• Lead feature delivery and integration across multiple domains

• Mentor team members, enhancing overall efficiency

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in modern C++ for embedded Linux

• Strong skills in memory management and concurrency

• Familiarity with cross-platform libraries and mobile APIs

• Proficient in build/debug tools like CMake and CI/CD

• Experience with imaging pipelines and real-time constraints
