In this leadership role, you will manage firmware architecture for Geotab’s suite of IoT devices. You will mentor your team, break down large engineering projects, and implement coding standards while ensuring scalable and secure software solutions. Your insights will guide critical project decisions and enhance team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and validate firmware for IoT devices

• Mentor team members and ensure quality deliverables

• Review designs and enforce coding standards

• Create documentation for design processes

• Support continuous improvement of development practices

Requirements:

• Strong experience in C/POSIX and multithreaded development

• Proven expertise in embedded Linux systems

• Knowledge of communication protocols (UART, SPI, CAN)

• Capability to read schematics and troubleshoot embedded systems

• Experience with Git and CI/CD methodologies
