Senior iOS Developer

Position: Senior iOS Developer at Google
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Become a Senior iOS Developer at Google, where you will craft innovative experiences for Android XR through robust API design and development. This role emphasizes creativity and leadership.

In this role, you will leverage your extensive software development experience—especially in Swift and Objective-C—to create advanced APIs and frameworks primarily for AI Glasses. Collaborating with various teams, you will mentor lesser experienced engineers and set high standards for coding practices and documentation in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver APIs/tools for iOS on Android XR devices

• Create frameworks for seamless user navigation in XR

• Partner with Developer Relations for external developer coordination

• Provide mentorship to engineering teams on best practices

• Discover opportunities to enhance internal application development using APIs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• At least five years of software development experience

• Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, or C++ languages

• Exceptional problem-solving and systems debugging abilities

• Strong skills in communication and collaboration
