Planitar Embedded Vision Developer Position

Location: Southwestern Ontario

As an Embedded Vision Developer at Planitar, you are integral to the development of the Planix capture system.

Your role will encompass designing and enhancing the imaging pipeline while collaborating with system engineers, mobile app teams, and external vendors. Your deep understanding of embedded Linux and C++ will be crucial in delivering innovative data capture technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement embedded firmware for advanced capture systems

• Coordinate major feature releases across engineering teams

• Monitor software releases for compatibility and performance

• Maintain protocols between devices and applications

• Integrate camera technology with embedded platforms

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of building software in C++ for embedded systems

• Experience in camera and sensor integration

• Solid understanding of multithreading and memory management

• Proficient in modern build and debugging tools

• Effective communicator in technical environments
