Position: Google XR Application Compatibility Lead
Location: Southwestern Ontario

In this role, Google is looking for a technical lead with a strong background in software development, ideally with five years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Candidates should be skilled in programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, and C#, alongside excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and lead automated application evaluation systems

• Implement intelligent crawlers using AI vision models

• Create scalable frameworks for application execution

• Collaborate with platform teams to enhance user experiences

• Develop testing mechanisms for compatibility improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Minimum of 5 years in software development

• Familiarity with programming languages including Java and Python

• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication abilities in technical contexts
