Position: Cloud Software Developer – Google
Location: southwestern ontario

Join Google’s Waterloo team as a Cloud Software Developer, focusing on advanced backend solutions and cloud infrastructure. Use your programming skills to impact developer experience and product success.
In this Mid-Level position, you will leverage your expertise in distributed computing and programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Go. Develop solutions for the Developer Connect Insights service, which improves application runtime visibility by integrating various SDLC events.

Your role is essential in aligning developer needs with product management’s strategy and feature enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop optimized solutions for product features

• Work collaboratively with Dev2

Prod teams

• Analyze feedback to improve product offerings

• Provide support for production services

• Maintain healthy team dynamics through effective collaboration
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 2+ years in cloud and large-scale backend development

• Skilled in programming languages:
Java, C++, Python, or Go

• Familiarity with Docker and API design

• Production support experience is a plus
