Your role helps keep valuable household items out of landfills.
In this part-time position, you will operate a 3-Ton truck, collecting donations throughout your community to support National Diabetes Trust's mission. You'll perform vital tasks such as route mapping, vehicle inspections, and maintaining safety regulations while engaging positively with donors. Your skills in organization and communication will shine as you deliver essential support to our charitable efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and deliver donations from homes and bins
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete required logs and paperwork
• Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the day
• Support environmental efforts through efficient pickups
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• At least 5 years of driving experience
• Must possess a clean driving record
• Full Class 5 license or higher
• Ability to lift loads between 10-50 lbs
