Part Time G Licence Truck Driver

Drive with purpose at the National Diabetes Trust as a part time G Licence Truck Driver from 8 PM to 4 AM. Collect items outside donation bins and help reduce waste in your community.

This role requires navigating established routes, promoting the mission of National Diabetes Trust, and conducting daily vehicle inspections. As you drive, you will ensure compliance with regulations and complete all necessary paperwork. Your work aids in raising funds for vital diabetes programs while supporting environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive established routes to collect items for disposal

• Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections

• Complete required Hours of Service Logs daily

• Provide message cards to all donors during pickups

• Report any discrepancies to dispatch

Requirements:

• Full Class 5 or G licence with 5 years driving experience

• Clean driver abstract within the last 21 days

• Ability to handle loads between 10-50 lbs

• Must understand map navigation

• Good communication skills with the public
