Russel Metals Inc. is currently seeking an individual for the position of  General Labourer  in our  London, ON  location.
Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensuring safe procedures are followed while performing job responsibilities
Complying with workplace policies and procedures (operational and health and safety)
Running overhead crane and forklift
Picking and packaging material according to customer specifications
Loading and unloading trucks
Ensuring quality customer service.
Qualifications and

Skills Required:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Able to perform some heavy lifting
Able to accommodate shift work
Good knowledge of math and measurements
Self-motivated, results-driven, and attention to detail
Highly safety-oriented, strong situational awareness
Strong sense of personal accountability
Preference will be given to candidates whohave experience operatingoverheadcranes, band saws, and forklifts.

Shift:  Day (7am-3pm) / Afternoon (3pm-11pm) ROTATION(.85 cent premium on afternoon shift)
Wage:
$23.64/hr
