Pay RangeBase pay: $39,284.88/yr - $58,927.20/yr
DescriptionThe Office of Inspector General (OIG) performs many varied functions for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. OIG has six Divisions, including the Division of Regulated Child Care, Division of Health Care, Certificate of Need, Division of Kentucky Health Information Exchange, Division of Telehealth, and the Division of Audits and Investigations. This position provides professional support to the Human Services Program Branch Manager and Surveyors of the Division of Child Care, Southern Enforcement Branch.
The role serves as a liaison with Central Office for administrative functions, assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining complex programs, projects, or activities, and performs other duties as required.
- Assists in updating spreadsheets for tracking survey packets.
- Reviews surveys for accuracy and enters survey notes into databases for closures, Covid‑19, etc.
- Uploads survey data into SharePoint.
- Serves as point of contact for Branch, answers phone, assists callers with questions and refers callers to appropriate staff.
- Tracks certified mail, processes, and distributes incoming mail & faxes.
- Responsible for ordering, purchasing, inventory, and distribution of office supplies.
- Assists with new employee orientation, ensures new hire packets are completed and submitted timely.
- Schedules meetings and interviews for staff.
- Maintains and updates mail and report log and sends out correspondence.
- Tracks cell phones, laptops, desktops, and branch equipment inventory.
- Responsible for obtaining staff submission of health screenings, trainings, and monthly reports.
- Serves as payroll and timekeeper for Branch and as liaison to Central Office.

- Education:
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree. - Experience:
Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience. - Substitute EDUCATION for
