We are partner led and focused on people – our team and our clients. We combine market leading sector expertise and excellent service capability to provide exceptional service in our chosen markets.

Team Overview

Our team of approximately 70 people helps US and UK citizens and businesses based away from home to manage their net earnings and reduce liabilities. Consisting of dual‑qualified US/UK tax experts, 14 partners and strong administration support, our team knows both tax systems inside out and has handled relocations for solo workers, and up to hundreds of employees. On the other side of the world, our Hong Kong team looks after US and UK nationals living across Southeast Asia.

This role is due to commence in August 2026.

Please be advised, applications will not be reviewed until February 2026.

The Role

In this role, you will be handling a portfolio of clients, delivering a quality compliance and advisory service to both clients and Managers, as well as identifying opportunities to cross‑sell the firm’s services.

In addition, you will study towards the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) qualification under a structured apprenticeship programme, building not only on your technical skills, but also on your personal and professional development. In order to become fully qualified in US taxation, you will also study towards the Enrolled Agent qualification, making you a “dual handler.”

Training consists of a combination of courses at the tutors’ offices, private study and regular exams, as well as on‑the‑job training.

What’s In It For You

We have a genuine commitment to your development, offering you a closely supported and structured programme of tuition, provided by a top firm of external tutors. Internally, you’ll be supported by a manager who will act as your mentor, a trainee buddy, partners, senior staff and a dedicated Learning & Development team.

As you progress through your training you will receive incremental salary increases as you hit various milestones in your qualification.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Act principally as a preparer of US and UK tax returns for a portfolio of clients within the US/UK Tax team but at the same time look for and notify the client of opportunities where taxes can be minimised.
  • Liaise with your manager in connection with monitoring the management of your portfolio to include: accountability for chargeable and non‑chargeable hours and projected billing.
  • Deal with ad hoc advice requested by clients, consulting with managers and directors where necessary.
  • Organise the collection of data for the timely completion of compliance work and be responsible for ensuring that filing deadlines are adhered to on each assignment.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2:1 Degree
  • 120 UCAS tariff points from 3 A‑levels, or equivalent (excluding General Studies).
  • Level 6 (B grade using the old system) in GCSE Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • The right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the training contract

Please note we do not accept General Studies or applications from part‑qualified applicants.
