ROLE DESCRIPTION

Phil Mcdonald - State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified, knowledgeable, and empathetic professional for the role of Life/Health Insurance Position - State Farm Agent Team Member. As a customer‑oriented expert, you will market Life/Health insurance products (including Medicare supplement plans) to support customers and their families. You’ll also help clients navigate long‑term care needs and expand their coverage options with confidence.

This role is ideal for someone who either understands Medicare supplements or can quickly grasp and follow a proven process with training. We’re looking for someone sophisticated, confident, and capable of moving production forward while delivering a trusted experience to every client. As a strategic and emotionally intelligent resource to the community, we are excited to grow our successful agency with your skillset.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Offer life, health, and Medicare supplement insurance policies to new and existing customers
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses to identify solutions across life, health, Medicare supplements, and long‑term care
  • Explain policy features, benefits, costs, and exclusions in a clear and confident manner
  • Assist customers with claims, policy changes, and ongoing service needs
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Life/Health insurance license, Series 6/63/65 is a plus
  • Ability to understand and explain complex insurance and Medicare products
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven sales experience, ideally within insurance or financial services
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and follow‑through abilities
  • Ability to build rapport, inspire trust, and maintain long‑term relationships
