Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer, you'll be a crucial part of our team, helping us build a reliable software that never sleeps. You'll design, develop, and maintain the backbone of our platform using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka and more.

This is an on-site position based in Banja Luka

What you will do

• Own your code: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build for scale: Implement REST APIs that are secure, efficient, and can handle massive traffic.
• Shape our product: Contribute to the architecture and design of our evolving platform.
• Be a problem solver: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with a creative mindset.
• Collaborate and grow: Work closely with a talented team and share your expertise.

What you bring to the table

• Java expertise: You're a Java pro with hands-on experience in Spring Boot.
• API mastery: You can design and implement robust, well-structured REST APIs.
• Database knowledge: You're comfortable working with relational databases like Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Cloud-native experience: You understand microservices and have worked with technologies like Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Ownership: You are proactive and take full ownership of your initiatives.
• Communication skills: You are a strong communicator, and you know how to keep your stakeholders in the loop.
