Diesel Engine Technician - London, Ohio
Vander Haag’s, a leading heavy duty diesel service company, is looking for a full‑time Diesel Engine Technician. The role involves inspection and rebuilds/repairs for all used diesel engines removed by our Dismantling team. You will work in your own ergonomic‑friendly work bay with overhead hoists and engine stands—no more crawling around trucks.
Responsibilities- Inspect used diesel engines for wear and damage.
- Rebuild and repair engines, including inspecting and replacing rod and main bearings and other components identified during inspection.
- Work within the shop’s day shift schedule, collaborating with the Dismantling team.
- Prior experience with heavy duty diesel engines.
- Full benefits package with paid time off reflecting years of experience.
- Regular overtime hours on a day shift schedule.
- Family‑friendly work environment.
Day shift, Monday through Friday.
Compensation25–38 hourly wage.
