Please find attached a job spec for a Client Accountant role - 12-Month Maternity Cover.

About the Role

The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a residential lettings agency, within a client accounting team, with strong experience chasing tenants’ rent arrears and updating landlords. Being able to understand a financial schedule, ledgers, invoices and to analyse and manipulate data is also a must as this is not a junior role.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a residential lettings agency
Experience with in a client accounting team

Strong experience in client accounting
Ability to understand financial schedules, ledgers, and invoices
Data analysis and manipulation skills

Preferred Skills

Client accounting experience in the software Reapit (main software which will be used for the role) would be ideal, but is not essential.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary range up to £38k including 10% bonus

Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm

3 Months

Monday 2nd March 2026 to ensure a smooth 1-week handover with our current Client Accountant going on a 12-Month Maternity Leave on Friday 6th March
