• Ownership of the Accounts Receivable function
• Ownership of the Accounts Payable process
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Cross system reconciliations with large data sets
• Preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations including bank, accruals, prepayments and other key accounts
• Provide cover for the Financial Controller
• Ad-hoc requests and project work as required

• Part qualified Accountant or looking to start studying and keen to progress, with 1-3 years experience.
• Solid understanding of core accounting functions: double entry, AP, AR, accruals, and prepayments
• Attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets: up to and including vlookups
• Detail-oriented, proactive, able to prioritise and eager to learn within a high-performing finance team
• Team player: happy to work collaboratively and support where needed

• Experience in a complex billing environment
• Familiarity with automated payment methods (eg Stripe, GoCardless or automated billing platforms)
