The Senior Accountant will take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs across management accounts, VAT, payroll and statutory filings. You’ll also act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring work is not only technically sound, but commercially impactful.
Role Highlights
The Senior Accountant will…
- Take ownership of the accounting workflow for 10–15 international SME clients
- Review and sign off deliverables including VAT returns, payroll, management accounts, and year-end packs
- Lead regular check-ins with junior staff, supporting development and quality control
- Participate in client meetings, audits, and onboarding new accounts
- Monitor deadlines across the portfolio to ensure accurate and timely filings
You Will Need to...
- Be ACCA qualified (or 1 exam away) with UK practice experience
- Have hands-on expertise in VAT, payroll, UK GAAP and statutory accounts
- Be confident reviewing junior work and managing workflow within a small team
- Be fluent in French and able to liaise directly with French-speaking clients
- Use Sage, Quick Books, Iris and Excel with ease
