Senior Auditor – Job Specification Responsibilities- Lead audit engagements for a broad range of clients, including planning, fieldwork and completion.
- Act as the key contact to the client and coordinate junior staff.
- Interact regularly with the audit partner and senior team members.
- Receive international and advisory exposure and training from exceptional practitioners.
- Develop accounting, financial and business interpersonal skills and build a career with the firm.
- Participate in a wide range of social events and external networking.
- At least three years' audit experience established within a mid‑tier accountancy practice.
- ACA qualification with excellent communication skills.
- Experience liaising with all relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
- Excellent IT and presentation skills.
- Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- A sound working knowledge of audits in the SME market.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and keep technical knowledge up to date.
- Ensure client deadlines are met and budget accordingly.
- Working knowledge of Caseware is an advantage.
- Consider the needs and skills of those under supervision, organising tasks and responsibility.
- Enthusiasm, drive and determination with a "can‑do" approach.
- Desire and ability to develop and grow a career in a forward‑thinking environment.
- Smart working with core hours from 10am to 4pm.
