Service Charge Client Accountant​/Dependant

At Strangford Management, we don’t believe accounting in block management should sit in the background.

Our Client Accountants are central to each portfolio, embedded within a small team alongside a Property Manager and Junior Property Manager, working together to deliver financial excellence, transparency, and confidence to our clients.

We are now looking to appoint a Client Accountant to join one of our London-based teams.

You will be responsible for the full financial management of a defined portfolio, including:

• Monthly financial reporting
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Contractor payments
• Preparation and issuing of ad-hoc company invoices
• Updating contractor details and financial data
• Arrears monitoring and solicitor liaison
• Client company secretarial tasks
• Year-end accounts preparation and coordination

This is not a back-office-only role. You will work closely with clients and directors, and you may be involved in presenting financial information clearly and confidently.

We’re looking for someone with both technical grounding and personality.

• University educated (ideally Accounting & Finance graduate)
• Currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in block management accounting
• Exposure to year-end accounts preparation
• Experience in both accounts payable and receivable
