Salary Guide: £80,000 to £85,000 pro rata

Our client is a market-leading FTSE listed international Group with strong brand recognition in its sector. Operating in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, with significant international operations, the business requires an interim Group Reporting Accountant to start ASAP to support them with the year end close. Initially a 6-month FTC, but likely to be extended.

The responsibilities of the Temporary Group Reporting Accountant include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately prepare the Group’s statutory and consolidated financial statements for annual reporting.
• Support statutory reporting across the Group, develop and implement accounting policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with IFRS.
• Support external audits and act as a key point of contact for auditors.
• Ensure a robust internal control environment is maintained.

The skills of the Temporary Group Reporting Accountant include, but are not limited to:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant experience within a listed company.
• Experience with IFRS reporting.
• Excellent communication/stakeholder management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving environment.
