We are a respected, forward‑thinking accountancy practice seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join an expanding team. You will work with a diverse mix of clients – including large UK groups, privately owned companies, LLPs and listed entities – gaining technical exposure and development opportunities.

As an Audit Senior you will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, reporting directly to Managers and Partners.

• Lead audit engagements across a varied, high‑quality client portfolio
• Plan, execute and complete audit work to a high standard
• Supervise, mentor and review the work of junior and semi‑senior staff
• Manage budgets, timelines and client communication
• Attend planning and completion meetings
• Prepare high‑quality audit programmes, reports and management letters
• Handle technical queries and liaise with internal teams
• Support general office activities, including acting as a buddy for new starters

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Previous experience as an Audit Senior or similar role
• Strong working knowledge of accounting standards, auditing standards, company law and basic corporate tax
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and lead junior team members effectively
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
