100 accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Interim Auditor to support its audit team during a period of increased demand. The firm is recognised for delivering high‑quality audit and advisory services and has a growing portfolio of clients from an array of sectors and industries.

The interim auditor will take responsibility for delivering specialist audit work for construction clients. The role requires a strong understanding of long‑term contract accounting, project‑based reporting, WIP assessment, and sector‑specific regulatory considerations. The successful candidate will provide immediate support and ensure high‑quality delivery across multiple engagements.

• Lead and deliver audit assignments.
• Review financial statements with emphasis on long‑term contracts, revenue recognition (including IFRS
  15), WIP, and project costing.
• Identify audit risks and ensure appropriate testing and documentation.
• Support junior team members and contribute to technical discussions.
• Liaise directly with client finance teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UK and international auditing standards and internal methodologies.
• Produce high‑quality work papers and deliverables within agreed timelines.
