Senior Accountant and Auditor - Independent Accountancy Practice Central London (Hybrid) £50,000 - £65,000 DOE

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established supportive firm based in Central London in their search for an Audit & Accounts Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take ownership of client engagements within a close-knit and collaborative environment. The role offers a 70% accounts and 30% audit split providing a hand‑on and varied workload.

• Lead audits from planning through to completion
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships
• Manage multiple assignments, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
• Review work prepared by junior staff and support their development
• Represent the firm professionally across client engagements

• ACA or ACCA qualified (Non‑negotiable)
• Minimum 2+ years' post-qualified experience within practice
• Strong experience across both audit and accounts
• Confident leading audits and managing client relationships
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and personable approach
• Experience with IRIS software beneficial

• £50,000 - £65,000 salary (flexible for the right candidate)
• Hybrid working available after 6‑month probation
