Role: IFRS Group Accounting & Reporting Specialist

London – Hybrid – 4 days/week onsite

Join a global finance team where technical accounting expertise plays a critical role in supporting high‑quality financial reporting and helping a purpose‑driven organisation continue to make a positive impact on patients and consumers worldwide.

• Support the preparation of consolidated annual and interim financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Assist with the application of IFRS to complex transactions, including share‑based payments, financial instruments and hedge accounting, revenue recognition, segment reporting, impairment testing, acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, and leases
• Independently manage Galderma's share‑based payment accounting administration, including quarterly calculations in accordance with IFRS 2 and local accounting standards (particularly Swiss accounting standards), working closely with Group FP&A, HR, and other stakeholders
• Independently manage IAS 19 pension accounting and coordinate Group‑level reporting
• Independently prepare the annual impairment test in accordance with IAS 36
• Prepare accounting memoranda in accordance with IFRS and support the ongoing maintenance and development of the Galderma Group Accounting Manual and accounting policies
• Support the Consolidation Team in the monthly consolidation process and reporting to the Group CFO
• Act as a key point of contact for local and Group finance teams on IFRS accounting, reporting, and consolidation matters
• Develop and deliver accounting training to finance teams across the organisation
• Support special projects, including mergers and acquisitions, system migrations, and process improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with external auditors throughout audit processes
• Regular travel within Europe

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 7‑10 years of experience in group accounting/consolidation roles in multi‑national or global setting, accounting advisory or audit in Big4
• Advanced knowledge in IFRS accounting and reporting, particularly IFRS2,3,8,9,15,16 and IAS
  12,19,36,37,38
• Knowledge of consolidation tools is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
