Your new role
A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Management Accountant on an interim basis to provide critical support during a busy period. This role will focus on month-end delivery, clearing a backlog of invoices, and strengthening core financial reporting processes, while providing day-to-day support to the Assistant Financial Controller.

• Support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts and supporting commentary
• Work through a backlog of invoices, ensuring accurate processing and reconciliations
• Support reconciliations across multiple ledgers
• Partner with the Assistant FC to improve process efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Provide ad-hoc support across finance where required during peak periods

• Part-qualified or QBE with relevant accounting experience
• Understanding of month-end processes and management accounts
• Proven experience in clearing transactional backlogs (AP / invoicing)
• Confident working with Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
• Able to work autonomously and at pace in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail with a hands-on, proactive approach
