Location: Greater London

Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and looking for an opportunity to grow within a busy finance environment? WPS is seeking a Processing Assistant (Expenses) to join our team in Finsbury Park and play a key role in supporting our supplier payment and employee expense processes.

Responsibilities
  • Process employee expense claims accurately and within agreed timescales
  • Review claims to ensure compliance with company policy and HMRC guidelines
  • Verify costs are correctly coded and allocated
  • Identify and escalate duplicate, fraudulent, or non‑compliant claims
  • Process supplier invoices and support payment runs
  • Resolve invoice and expense queries professionally and promptly
  • Reconcile supplier statements and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with month‑end activities, reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential
  • Experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Administration, Expense Administration, or a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
Desirable
  • COINS system experience
  • Construction industry experience
  • Experience processing high volumes of transactions
