Audit Supervisor

Overview

• You will be involved in cutting-edge financial matters across a broad range of activities and clients, including audit and assurance.
• You will be involved with planning, all the way through to completion of audits.
• Typically leading a team of juniors, as well as acting as the key contact to the client.
• You will be in constant interaction with the team and your audit partner.
• You will receive training and feedback from exceptional practitioners, along with international and advisory exposure with your clients.
• You will have the opportunity to further develop your accounting, financial and business inter-personal skills, and build your career with the firm.

• At least three years  audit experience, established within a mid-tier accountancy practice
• The ACA qualification with excellent communication skills
• Experience liaising with all relevant stakeholders
• The ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
• Excellent IT and presentation skills
• Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• A sound working knowledge of audits in the SME market
• The ability to ensure that all statutory requirements are complied with, and technical knowledge is kept up-to-date
• The ability to ensure that all client deadlines are met and to budget accordingly
• Working knowledge of Case Ware would be an advantage
• Consideration for the needs and skills of those under supervision, organising tasks and responsibility
• Enthusiasm, drive and determination, coupled with a  can-do  approach to work
