Accounts Senior​/Supervisor – PQE

Job Purpose

• This medium size accountancy firm based in a prime location in Central London is looking for a new Accounts Senior with 1 to 2 years PQE who can step up to Supervisor / Assistant Manager level, or someone who is already an Accounts Supervisor or Assistant Manager and looking for their next challenge and to work with more interesting clients and have better progression opportunities.
• The aim is to provide first class accountancy services to a wide range of clients, most from the Film, TV, Sport, Creative, Media and Entertainment sectors.
• Most clients will be small to medium in size but will include some groups and international companies.

• The firm is professional yet friendly, with regular team bonding days and socials so you can get to know other members of staff from other departments.

• Your role will be varied and include managing your own portfolio of clients, and ensuring all clients are serviced to a high standard.
• Reviewing work prepared by other staff members.
• The preparation of more complex FRS 102 and 105 statutory accounts from start to finish, drafting corporation tax returns, personal tax returns and reviewing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments.
• Managing and training more junior staff members, as well as helping with ad hoc assignments to help the team where necessary.
• Training and support will be provided where necessary.

• Fully ACA or ACCA qualified with between 1 and 2 years post qualification experience.
• Currently working as an Accounts Senior, Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a good quality accountancy firm.
• Experience of preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments is required.
• Experience of cloud based software packages.
• A desire to learn, progress and do well in a medium size accountancy firm based in Zone 1 Central London.
• A strong interest in working with mainly Film, TV, Media, Creative, Sport and Entertainment based clients.
