Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy firm based in Central London to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior / Semi-Senior.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious practice professional to join a supportive team and gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering audit and accounts services while developing their technical skills and progressing their career.

• Preparing statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients.
• Supporting and leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Carrying out audit testing and preparing clear working papers.
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
• Reviewing bookkeeping records and resolving queries.
• Preparing corporation tax computations where required.
• Liaising directly with clients and providing a high level of service.
• Supporting junior team members and sharing technical knowledge.

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
• Experience working on audit and accounts assignments.
• Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
• ACA/ACCA qualification or actively studying towards qualification (or qualified by experience).
