Property Accountant

The Role

You'll play a key role in supporting the service charge accounting function, ensuring accurate financial records and delivering a high standard of service to both internal stakeholders and managing agents.

• Assisting with the preparation of annual service charge budgets and reconciliations
• Processing service charge transactions and maintaining accurate records within Propman
• Raising service charge demands and allocating receipts
• Processing invoices and ensuring costs are coded correctly
• Supporting year end processes and external audits
• Responding to service charge queries from internal teams, tenants and managing agents
• Maintaining accurate property and lease information within Propman

• Previous experience in a Service Charge Assistant or Property Finance role
• Strong working knowledge of Propman is essential
• Understanding of service charge accounting and lease requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confident using Excel and financial systems
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
