- Solihull - £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Our client, a well-established and growing organisation, is looking for a Financial Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting, statutory accounts preparation, and financial control activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a collaborative finance team, broaden their technical expertise, and contribute to ongoing process improvements within a dynamic business environment.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger. Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors. Assist with the year-end and month-end close processes. Prepare and review VAT returns and other regulatory submissions. Support budgeting and forecasting activities across the business. Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and reporting. Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Key essentials of the Financial Accountant: ACA or ACCA qualified. Advanced Excel skills.
