We are seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join our Client's Finance Team within the Homes Division. This role involves supporting the financial management of a diverse residential property portfolio, playing a crucial role in managing the full-service charge demand cycle, preparing accurate year-end accounts, maintaining reconciled client bank accounts, and ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage the full demand process, including issuing budget templates to property managers, uploading budgets into property management systems, and sending demands on time.
• Ensure all client reporting requirements are met within agreed deadlines, including cyclical financial reports and information needed to support VAT reporting.
• Prepare service charge year-end accounts for submission to independent accountants, including accrual and prepayment schedules, void calculations, and resolving queries to secure approval.
• Distribute year-end accounts to all leaseholders within six months of the financial year-end or issue Section 20B notices on time where required.
• Manage monthly expenditure reviews and corrections in collaboration with property managers.
