The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Temporary Bookkeeper to provide holiday cover within their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong Sage 50 experience who can hit the ground running. Initially, the successful candidate will provide full-time cover from 27th July to 31st July while a member of the team is on annual leave.

Following this period, there is potential for ongoing part-time support (2-3 days per week) to assist in bringing the accounts up to date. The role is fully office-based in Woodbridge, and the majority of the work will involve data entry, bookkeeping duties, and Accounts Payable support.

Key Responsibilities Maintaining and updating financial records using Sage 50 Performing day-to-day bookkeeping duties Processing Accounts Payable transactions Carrying out high-volume data entry with a high degree of accuracy Reconciling financial information and maintaining accurate records Assisting with general finance and accounts administration Supporting the finance team in reducing backlogs and ensuring accounts are up to date Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in a bookkeeping role Strong working knowledge of Sage 50

Experience with in Accounts Payable Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and efficiently within a busy environment
