Accounts Assistant
An established and growing commercial property management and investment firm based in Central London is looking for a capable Accounts Assistant to support its busy finance department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in property accounts who is looking to deepen their experience in a professional and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of a diverse commercial property portfolio. You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, working closely with property managers, clients, and external partners.
Experience with property-specific accounting software—especially MRI Qube—is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties
* Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
* Maintain accurate records of income and expenditure
* Support in the preparation of service charge accounts and client reporting
* Liaise with property managers and external stakeholders regarding financial queries
* Assist in month-end and year-end reporting
* Ad-hoc financial administration and support as required
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts role within the real estate or property industry
* Strong understanding of property accounting processes
* Experience using MRI Qube software is highly desirable
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems
Salary & Benefits:
* £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
