Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:
Ownership of the finance inbox. Posting banking journals daily across multiple accounts (GBP, USD, Euros & AUD). Assisting with preparing monthly VAT returns. Reviewing purchase invoices on the accounting system (Purchase Order matching, approvals, brand coding and cost allocation). Preparation of the weekly supplier pay runs Payroll administration Other month end duties of the Accounts Assistant:
Reconciling and prepare monthly banking reports. Preparing bank and credit card reconciliations. Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations. Preparing monthly aged receivables report. Reconciling and posting intercompany transactions. Raising commission and recharge invoices. Key

Skills and Experience:

AAT or equivalent. Experience working with SAP would be an advantage Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. The job title Accounts Assistant may also be known as a Finance Assistant.
