Part-Qualified Management Accountant

Urban Pubs & Bars (UPB) is a rapidly expanding restaurant and pub business based in Covent Garden (London) looking for an ambitious Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to further develop their career within a supportive and dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the preparation and analysis of financial information across the Group while contributing to a range of month-end and reporting activities. The key responsibilities are outlined below:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts for the Group
• Calculate and post accruals, prepayments, and other month-end journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly P&L variance analysis against budget/forecasts etc. for the Group
• Investigate and resolve finance queries arising after month-end close.
• Assist with audit processes and provide supporting documentation as required.
• Support the Senior Management Accountant, Finance Manager, and Financial Accountant with ad hoc projects and finance-related tasks.

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Previous practice experience or a minimum of two years' experience in a similar management accounting role.
• Experience preparing management accounts and supporting month-end processes is desirable.
