External Reporting Manager - £80-85k - London (Hybrid)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified ACA to join a high-profile, international business as an External Reporting Manager.
Reporting to the Head of External Reporting, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely Group reporting, while helping shape the future of the finance function during a period of finance transformation and organisational change.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant looking to broaden their exposure within a large, complex organisation and drive meaningful improvements across Group reporting and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Group consolidation and reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Support the preparation of consolidated Group financial statements under IFRS.
- Drive enhancements to Group reporting controls, processes and systems.
- Act as a key finance stakeholder within ongoing transformation initiatives.
- Partner with regional finance teams to improve the quality and efficiency of month-end close, reporting and audit processes.
- Support statutory reporting requirements and other external reporting obligations.
- Contribute to a range of finance and business projects as the organisation continues to evolve
About You
- ACA qualified with at least 2 years' post-qualification industry experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Previous exposure to Group reporting and consolidation within a complex environment.
- Experience using FCCS, HFM or similar consolidation systems.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholders.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and challenge constructively where required.
