We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to support a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients. This is a diverse role combining bookkeeping, payroll and office administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and building strong client relationships.

You will be responsible for -

• Manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients using cloud-based accounting software.
• Process weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Liaise with clients to resolve day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll queries.
• Provide general administrative support to the Partners and wider team.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining client records.

What you will bring -

• Previous bookkeeping experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Payroll processing experience, including RTI submissions.
• Good knowledge of Xero, Quick Books, Sage or similar accounting software.
