Audit Manager

A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Southampton is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their growing team, offering flexible working, a company pension, and much more. As Audit Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of audit clients, leading engagements from planning through to completion while mentoring junior team members and supporting the firm's continued growth.

You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and upholding the highest standards of audit quality. What is the day-to-day of the role:
Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors and sizes Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments in line with regulatory standards Supervise, coach, and develop junior members of the audit team Liaise directly with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships Identify opportunities to add value and cross-sell additional services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading teams Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting Excellent communication and client relationship management skills Benefits:
