The successful candidate will provide expert financial leadership across Adult Social Care, offering clear, strategic advice that helps senior managers make confident, informed decisions.

They will take ownership of budget setting, forecasting, and financial modelling, ensuring robust financial plans that reflect demand trends and cost pressures. They will lead on year‑end closedown, statutory reporting, and grant management, maintaining strong financial controls and delivering accurate, audit‑ready information.

They will build productive relationships with operational teams, translating complex data into meaningful insights, supporting transformation programmes, and producing high‑quality reports for senior stakeholders. Above all, they will bring professionalism, analytical strength, and a commitment to achieving value for money in a vital public service area.
