** Accounting Technician
** to join our growing accounting team. The role will support both UK businesses and overseas companies establishing and operating businesses in the United Kingdom..

• Maintain accounting records and prepare journals and reconciliations..
• Assist with management accounts, year-end accounts, VAT and payroll records..
• Review financial information and investigate accounting discrepancies..
• Support overseas clients with UK accounting and financial compliance requirements..
• Communicate with clients to obtain records and resolve accounting queries..
• Work closely with the Financial Director and other internal professional teams..

• Degree, professional training or relevant experience in accounting, finance or a related field..
• Previous accounting, banking, fund accounting or financial services experience would be advantageous..
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting and accounting procedures..
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills..
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English..
• Mandarin language skills would be advantageous due to the company’s growing portfolio of Chinese-speaking corporate clients..
• Experience working with international or cross-border clients would be advantageous..
