We're partnering with a leading international business within the transport and rail industry to recruit a qualified Management Accountant to join its London finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified management accountant looking to build a commercial career in a global organisation with strong progression and development opportunities.

The Role Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and contributing to business decision-making. You'll gain broad exposure across the finance function while working closely with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary

Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles

Complete month-end activities including journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations

Assist with year-end reporting and external audit

Produce financial analysis to support business performance

Identify and implement process improvements

Partner with internal stakeholders across the organisation

Support finance projects and wider corporate accounting initiatives

About You Newly qualified ACA or ACCA in practice

Experience preparing accounts

Understanding of month-end processes

Confident communicator with excellent analytical skills

Proactive, organised and keen to develop within a fast-paced international environment

Experience with in a multinational business is advantageous but not essential
