Independent Practice Your new companyA well‑established and reputable independent accountancy practice in North West London is seeking an Audit Senior to join its growing team. The firm is known for strong client relationships, high technical standards, and a genuinely supportive working culture. You’ll work with a varied portfolio of owner‑managed businesses across multiple sectors, offering excellent exposure and a platform for long‑term progression.
Your new role
As an Audit Senior, you will lead audits from planning through to completion while taking responsibility for supervising junior staff and maintaining strong client relationships.
Alongside audit work, you will also gain involvement in accounts preparation and wider advisory tasks, creating a varied and well‑rounded role.
Key responsibilities:
Lead audit assignments for a diverse OMB client base
Plan, execute and complete audits in accordance with UK GAAPSupervise, train and review the work of junior staff
Prepare and review statutory accounts
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and quality
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally ACA / ACCA qualified or finalist
Strong and recent audit experience within UK practice
Proven ability to lead audits from planning to completion
Confident communicator with solid client‑facing skills
Experience working with OMB clients
Strong technical knowledge and organisational skills
