ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR
£27,000 - £30,000 PA FTE (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
SOUTH WEST LONDON
PERMANENT PART TIME, 25 HOURS PER WEEK (MON - FRI), HYBRID WORKING
I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established business seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their finance team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounting experience who enjoys working in a varied role supporting day-to-day finance operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial processing, reconciliations, reporting, and supporting online sales activity across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Support accounting activities for online business operations.
- Assist with the processing and reconciliation of automated transactions within the finance system.
- Support month-end financial close activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports, including:
- Sales reporting
- Product returns reporting
- Activity and performance reports
- Perform bank and accounts receivable reconciliations.
- Process incoming and outgoing payments.
- Support key online retail and marketplace accounts.
- Process customer refunds accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with stock management and inventory controls.
- Prepare daily cash reports.
- Support VAT return preparation and related compliance activities.
- Monitor and reconcile employee expenses and business-related costs.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- 2-3 years' experience working within an accounting or finance environment.
- Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Experience supporting e-commerce, retail, online sales, or distribution operations.
- Knowledge of VAT processes and stock control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Experience with bank reconciliations and transactional finance processes.
- An entry-level accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent desirable).
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
